TTU ranked best value public school by SmartAssett
COOKEVILLE, Tennessee (April 2, 2015) – Another rankings company has ranked Tennessee Tech University among the best value schools in Tennessee.
TTU ranks third in the listing of 10 schools, behind Vanderbilt University and Christian Brothers University. It is the highest ranked public university on the listing.
“Tennessee Tech University continues to be the best investment for students and their families who choose a public university,” said TTU President Phil Oldham. “Choosing our university means you can realistically complete four years with little or no debt and see your investment pay off throughout your career.”
The ranking is based on an aggregation of several categories, including average scholarships and grants, starting salary after graduation, tuition, cost of living and retention rate.
TTU has been recognized for its low student debt rates and high graduate earning potential by a variety of rankings institutions, including Payscale.com, U.S. News & World Report, Washington Monthly and The Princeton Review. The university has been included on several of those lists repeatedly since 2007.
