Students in grades five through 12 and their families are invited to come explore one of the world’s most precious and in-demand resources: water.
Tennessee Tech University’s Millard Oakley STEM Center will host a FAB Friday about thirst, water-born diseases and water conservation from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 10.
Each FAB Friday offers different hands-on activities related to the event’s theme. Students at the water event will learn the science behind watercolors and paint mixing to make art. They will also explore how precipitation patterns are changing worldwide and how population is putting a strain on one of humanity’s most vital resources.
The event is free but registration is required. To sign up, visit https://www.tntech.edu/stem/programs/family/fab-fridays or call (931) 372-6573. An adult family member or guardian must attend the event with their child.
